Bible and history major Charles Posey divided his time to include a variety of fields of interest. Charles served as senior men's representative to the Student Association, and headed the annual Student Association / TNT book exchange . Joining the Bison staff as a junior. he served as business manager his senior year. Charles was treasurer of the junior class and sang with the A Cappella for three years. A member of the Society of Collegiate Journalists and the World Evangelism Forum , Charles participated in International Campaigns for three years. Historian of TNT social club, Charles also served as beau for his sister club, Zeta Rho. Concerning her education at Har* ding, Anne Shields commented, "Harding has solidified my values and goals. I don 't really know what the future holds for me , but if I had to pinpoint one aspiration it would be simply to offer my best at whatever I do." The Oxford. Mississippi native majored in vocational home economics and minored in journalism. Anne served as secretary of Alpha Chi as well as participating in JOY. A member of Tri Sigma Delta. she was selected queen of Theta Tau Delta. Anne was a homecoming attendant her senior year. £usi<? ~ualls-6 An accounting major , Susie Qualls was aware that "the world is struggling with economic troubles and wars," but felt that "there will always be those things because we in the world are human." Four years with the A Cappella, two years performing with the Belles and Beaux, work with women's ensemble and a trip to England with International Campaigns 1978 allowed the Camden, Arkansas soprano to share her ability in music. Other activities included serving as treasurer for Zeta Phi Zeta and working with JOY and the American Studies Program. Susie was also a member of Delta Mu Delta honor fraternity and Pi Gamma Psi. Although Tim Smith majored {in general science with plans to teach, his most visible achievements at Harding were in the field of music. Tim spent two years each working with the Bison Band, A Cappella, and Chorale. He successfully auditioned for Belles and Beaux for three years and was chosen a Spring Sing host twice. Tim was a member of Alpha Chi, Kappa Delta Pi and the Student National Education Association. The Searcy student was a member of Chi Sigma Alpha social club.
