An accounting major. Cliff Parker served as vice-president of Alpha Chi honor society his senior year. A threeyear participant in the American Studies program , his interests resulted in membership in Alpha Psi Omega , a drama organization, as well. Aside from his more academic pastimes, Parker kept in shape by running track for the Bisons for four years and serving as athletic director for Alpha Omega social club. (J <Tim Olree Memphis native Tim Olree stated his plans for the future included becoming a computer programmer and eventually , "to be able to support myself as a fulltime missionary, " The math and general business major's academic standing gave him a four~year Dean'5 List standing and membership in Alpha Chi. Tim was a member of TNT and served as treasurer of the club. An unique activity of Tim's was his involvement in the "Kellertones" , a casual singing group from his residence hall. Named to the list of "Outstanding Young Men of America," Kevin Pope of Springfield, Missouri was president of the Harding chapter of Alpha Chi. Kevin, a pre-med student, paired a major in biology with a chemistry minor. A member of Galaxy social club, Kevin served as both president and religiOUS director for the organization. He also participated in the Pre-med and Spanish clubs. Sally Paine, a special education major from Atlanta, Georgia, devoted two years to serving as a resident assistant in addition to her other activities. Sally was a four-year member of JOY and the Dactylology club. She served on the women's judicial board and achieved Dean's List status for four years. Sally was a student delegate to the National Alpha Chi convention. Diane <Trombly Q Diane Trombly of Warren, Michigan chose art education as her major. Diane's high level of scholarship conSistently placed her on the Dean's List and earned her membership in Alpha Chi. Elected to serve her club sisters in Omega Phi as president, Diane was a member of the A Cappella, JOY and International Campaigns to Austria. She belonged to the Art Guild and the Student National Education Association. Diane was also a member of Big Sisters and the Dactylology club.
