Science Department adds Biochem major Receiving a $90,000 research grant to study attic ventilation systems, professor of physics Dr. James E. Mackey installed and calibrated the equipment to be used to collect data over the next two years. Continuing a summer NSF research project begun at Oklahoma State UniverSity, Dr: Edmond Wilson continued research on "High Vacuum Techniques of Obtaining Class Transition Temperatures of Chemical Salts " Dr. Don England , professor of chemistry, directed two senior research projects. A major in biochemistry was added to the curriculum this fall to prepare students for rapidly increasing job opportunities in that area.
