" ~ ,. - Paula Brumbelow l ~ I: As an honorary organization, the Society of Collegiate Journalists recognized those people who promoted and par- cEo ticipated in collegiate jour- 3 nalistic endeavors. 1:11 SA majority of the members C , CI. were active in publishing of ~ either the Bison or the Petit ;:- Jean. In the fall the sOciety discussed changing of the constitution and in March inductions were held . Sigma Tau Delta, an honorary English society, installed eleven new members in September, making a total of 18 for the year. The club sponsored a Halloween costume party for the children of the English faculty in which both members and faculty participated. Sigma Tau Delta also sponsored a literary film for the public, and speakers , including Larry Long and Joe McReynolds, were invited on several occasions to enlighten the group on various subjects . 1.
