At Halloween , a scavenger hunt was held in which members were given a list of items written in French that could be found in homes over the Searcy area. The Christmas gathering of the club included a seven-course meal followed by Christmas caroling in French . Throughout the tive, the officers of the organization began in September with a Welcome Back meal and fellowship for students and faculty. An October overnight camping and floating trip in the Spring River continued the new surge of activity for the club , and the 1OI-inning softball game they sponsored for social club participation gave the PEMM Club the medical profession . The group invited professionals to speak at meetings who shared experiences in the medical field to give the . students some insights into several areas. These included hospital jobs, academic .challenges, specialized medical fields and medical missions . The meetings were designed to ~ncourage the student to McGee, Morrow , Robinson, Abbot, Owens. However, the highlight of the year was the annual weekend trip to a French area, which was. St. Louis this year . "We tried to make PEMM Club' an active part in the everyday lives of physical education majors ," said President Paula Warnack . Working toward that objecfurther publicity. During March, the club hosted an Outdoor Education workshop on rappelling and mountain climbing for two days at Camp Tahkodah . The activity of the organization was reflected in their new T-shirts. The Pre-Med Club is a student interest organization that assists those who plan to enter realize the service he will be performing for the Lord and humanity .
