CIoooIr.- Professor French Department hosts festival for high school students; teachers direct two • campaigns " The Department of Modern Foreign Language hosted a language festival early in the spring semester for high school students from all over the state of Arkansas. The purpose of this festival was to give students a greater insight into the language and culture of foreign nations. Two campaigns were planned for the summer, one in Venezuela and the other in France, in conjunction with I nternational Campaigns . Some knowledge of the local language and culture was necessary for participation in these campaigns. 1. PRACTICING songs to be used in campaign efforts, Winfred Wright leads students in Lyon, France. 2.
