Meeting once a month , SNEA di scussed topi cs of interest to teachers such as " The Teacher as a Counsellor" and "What to Expec t When You Start Teaching." SNEA. To get things off to a good start , Mrs. Sharon Crockett, the spo nsor , welcomed th e' home economi cs majors to her home for an ice cream social. Bes ide the social fun ctions the group had many community projects such as the adopt a grandparent program and a Chri stmas party for little buddi es . By using programs on campus and by varioll s craft skill s, the student body was able to interpret the meani ng of home economics. AHEA. Debate Team The Debate Team competed in 11 different states placing first and second in sweepstakes in Arkansas and Mi ssouri .
