Whether studying, working or playing, the manner in which each student spent his time had a great impact on the outcome of the year. Time rushed past and became something sought after, yet whether gained or lost, it constituted the broad format for what each student longed. The rewards of friendship and love were evident as the year progressed; proof that such a large number of people could live alongside one another and still be happy. Many realized that how much they gained from the year would be determined by how much was put into it.
