Jess Bucy served as head coach at the all Arkansas Collegiate All Star game and also attended the Arkansas Coaching Clinic in Conway with Richard Johnson, Jerry Mote and John Prock. A scientific paper was presented by Bob Corbin to the national meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine in May 1976.
