Sigma Tau Delta The past year Sigma Tau Delta sent four members to the National Convention at the University of Mississippi. In February several members attended an enjoyable and informative session with Miss L!ly Peter, poet Laureate of Arkansas. In March Dr. Larry Long spoke on Thoreau. In April a birthday for Shakespeare was given with everyone dressing as a character from one of his plays. SIGMA TAU DELTA. Phi Alpha Theta Phi Alpha Theta was an international honor society in history. Its purpose was to recognize and encourage excellence in the study of history.
