Paper wins All-American honors An All-American rating was awarded the Bison from the Associated Collegiate Press for the 1976 spring semester. The second time in the paper's history that it has received the award, the spring editions were also honored at the spring meeting of the Arkansas Collegiate Press Association by winning second in the General Excellence Sweepstakes in the state as well as taking three first place awards in editorial leadership, 1. The 1976-77 staff was actively involved in the coverage of lyceums, concerts and national headlines. Six members of the staff went to a state convention, September 19, at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and participated in workshops centered around journalism with suggestions being made on how to produce a better and more creative newspaper. 1,, -.ult
