____________ GRADUATE_ Grad program eHpanded Attempting to increase the enrollment in the graduate program, Dr. Wyatt Jones, Director of Graduate Studies, persuaded some of the other departments to join the Education Department in offering evening classes for graduate students during the regular academic year. Graduate offerings in physical education, reinforced by opportunities for students to work in the NASA physical fitness evaluation program and/or to serve as graduate assistants in the activity courses required of undergraduates, attracted an increasing number of students. During 1976, 24 MEd degrees were conferred. Dr. Jones chaired the 1976 meeting of deans and directors of graduate programs, in Arkansas, hosted by the college in April. GRADUATE COUNCIL.
