Guys could be seen in the new leisure su.its for dress up occassions. Prewashed jeans became popular as did bib overalls. Tennis shoes were often donned on and off the courts. The new longer skirts were quickly accepted by the female population as were wedgies and shell necklaces. Embroidery 'could be seen on all types of clothing including jeans. jackets. and skirts.
