1975-1976 Yearbook

'They Being Dead Yet Speak' annual Lectureship theme Beginning with the first lily pool devotional the first week of school , spiritual growth on campus was nourished this year through the activities of the S.A. Spiritual Life committee. The committee placed social clubs in charge of Thursday night lily pool devotionals and sponsored weekly devotionals in the dorms. The annual lectureship took place from October 8-11 with the theme being "They Being Dead Yet Speak." Wednesday's lectureship speakers were selected by students for the annual student day activities. Daily chapel gave students a time in the midday to relax and worship God together. The auditorium was filled for both chapel periods due to increased enrollment while the CCP program held their own devotionals in the Bible building. Mission emphasis was stressed throughout the year as many students attended campaign meetings to prepare themselves for their summer's work for Christ. Emphasizing individuality in their search for God , many students developed a quiet time for daily scripture reading and prayers. - ' 58 / RELIGIOUS LIFE
