Junior 'Cats compile best win-loss record over past 6 seasons With only one starter returning. inexperience was expected to dominate the Junior Wildcat's basketball season. Countering gloomy predictions. the 'Cats turned in excellent defensive petformances and at one time possessed an ll-game winning streak. The Wildcats received several awards resulting from their play in the White County Tournament. Freshmen John Beavers and Mark White were selected for the AII; J'ournament team. Rees Lloyd won the individual sportsmanship award . and Mark White tied for the individual scholarship award. 1.
