French Club assists European missions by designing books To aid missionaries in France and Belgium, French Club members collected pictures, using them to construct children's Sunday school books in the French language. By stressing simple Biblical themes such as "God loves me," the books emphasized a personal relationship to God. In an effort to expose the student body to French culture, members designed the hall 's main bulletin board, showing how to b~ke French bread and displaying Impressionist paintings. As one of the Academy's competitive outlets for business and forensic skills, Future Business Leaders qf America contests on county, district , and state levels provided members with ex· perience in public performances. 1.
