s \ Clubs review pledging policy .Social clubs welcomed new members on October 3. Pledging activities began the day before with pledges rushing to get the halls decorated for the Hazen football game. In a reevaluation of pledging activities. it was concluded. after initiation festivities and rough night. that the program could be continued because it acquainted girls with the club system. Completion of softball intramurals resulted in STAR winning the double· elimination tournament. Each club selected two girls as most valuable players. From these six girls. junior Meg Alston was chosen as the social clubs ' most valuable player. 1. STRETCHING to reach the ball, Kim Martin returns a volley. 2.
