College 3-13 Ouachita 3-13 Bison Baseballers 11-5 in conference, make district finals Showing marked improvement, the baseball team upped its conference mark from 8-8 in 74 to 11-5 in 75. The Bisons, with a 22-10 overall record , were selected for the NAIA District 17 playoffs along with Southern State, John Brown Univ., and Univ. of Central Arkansas. The Bisons defeated Central Arkansas 9-3, and Southern State 3·1 in the playoffs but lost to John Brown Univ. to finish 3rd in the Ale. Vince Adams, pitcher and first baseman, was selected to the AII-AIC first team. Second Baseman Ordis Copeland, outfielder Lynn Chaffin, and designated hitter Perry Brown were named to the second team. Honorable mention went to Gary Harris , Tony Sneed, Dirk Allison, and Perry Brown. Vince Ai:lams and Ordis Copeland 'also made the NAlA District 17 team with honorable mentions going to Gary Harris, Tony Sneed, Lynn Chaffin, and Perry Brown. 1.
