Bison basketballers finish 16-14 season, 11-7 in conference Upping their season record from 1116 in 74-75 to 16-14 in 75-76 and their conference record from 4-14 in 74-75 to 11-7 in 75-76, the Bison Basketballers showed overall team improvement in team depth . Leading the team in scoring was AllNAJA District 17 Butch Gardner who averaged 23 .2 points per game. Honorable Mention All-NAJA District 17 Gary Baker and James Winston were second and third in scoring with Baker averaging 14 points per game and Winston with 11.6 points per game . Butch Gardner had an individ ual high mark of 36 points in one game against Ouachita, Gary Baker had an individual high mark of 10 free throws in one game against University of Central Arkansas, and James Winston had a high mark of 21 rebounds in one game against Lambuth College. 1.
