District, conference champs claim four All-Ale members "Well , we won it again," stated cross country Coach Ted Lloyd after the Bisons grabbed their fifth straight AIC title with a low total of 38 points. Ouachita Baptist finished a distant second in the conference meet with 57 points. The Bison Harriers placed four runners in the top 10 of the AIC with Marshall Grate finishing 2nd. Kent Johnson 6th. Mark Galeazzi 8th. and Phil Hostetler 9th. These four were also named to the All-AIC cross country team. For the 11th time in the past 13 years Harding has won the AIC title. The Bison runners took their 3rd straight NAIA District 17 championship. Marshall Grate took top honor in this meet winning the individual title.
