1975-1976 Yearbook

Groups serve dorms, promote freedom, work with retarded WSRO sponsored many service activities throughout the year for the women students of the college. Dorm projects included supplying a new color television for Cathcart, new drapes for Kendall, and ping pong tables for Stephens. Ladies' Night in the new gym was also organized by the group, highlighting a year of hard work. Organized in the spring semester, Young Americans for Freedom worked throughout the semester to preserve freedom through ed ucation. Members of the group wrote articles for papers, participated in radio programs, a speaker's bureau, and a seminar. The year's activities were concluded with a Bicentennial rally. The major work of the Civitans was aiding the mentally retarded . The 20 newly chartered members collected for the March of Dimes on Saturday, February 7, and made future plans to work with the Sunshine School for the retarded. The group also worked to develop and promote good citizenship among the student body. 1. CIVITANS. FIRST ROW: Groves, Wilson, Jackson, Fore.
