Providing entertainment as the back up band for Spring Sing '76, the Stage Band was directed by student director Warren Casey. The group toured Arkansas and neighboring states in February and combined with the Pep Band for basketball game performances and a December concert. The Woodwind Quintet and the String Quartet were both subsidiary groups of the Orchestra . Each ensemble performed classical as well as modern tunes specially written for groups of their size. Under the direction of Travis Cox, they presented a chapel program in the fall and performed with the Orchestra in its three concerts.
