Spirit, leadership play prin.ciple pari in. victory of Cats Spirit was a major factor in the success of the Wildcats. On and off the field, both players and fans exhibited the spirit that Harding is known for. The coaches and the players selected Al Sexton to receive the Wildcat Spirit Award. Sexton's hustle and leadership also enabled him to receive All-District honors, KWCK Dream Team, and Arkansas Athletic Association Class B All-State Team. Joining him on the KWCK Dream Team and All-District teams \vas Cam Prock. Also receiving All-District honors for the Cats were Steve Strayhorn, Tommy Bonds, and Bryan Williams. 1.
