Harding Wildcats fight their way on to state play-offs Under the influence of a very tough defense, the Wildcats managed to overwhelm all but two of their opponents. The Wildcats posted an 8-2 record over all, while losing the first game of the state play-offs. The Wildcats reached the play-offs by defeating all of their opponents except DeValls Bluff, which kept them from winning the district title. They were granted a trip to the play-offs as a wild-card team. The Wildcats lost to the state runner-up, Gillette, in the first round. It was a tough, well played battle by the score of 21-13. 1.
