W oddng together teaches students patience, sharing Providing a forum for the expression of student opinion and working to improve student-teacher relationships became the goals of the Student Association. The Association sponsored many activities that led to the growth of individuals while providing an opportunity to help the people around them. A retreat held at Camp Tahkodah in the fall gave students the chance to commune with God in nature around them. During the holiday season, a Christmas tree was erected in the library and the Academy family collected toys for the Optimist Toy for Tots drive. The Executive Council sought to help students become more concerned with those around them and to reach out 'to these individuals.
