Bison bowlers take first, as golfing team remains in seventh Tough competition in the Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference left Harding in seventh place. Coach Merritt and the Bison golfers were only ten strokes from sixth place Arkansas College, and Harding was in front of rival Henderson by a margin of 44 strokes. After a dismal third place last year in the AIC, the Bison keglers recaptured tirst place with a team total of 23, 209 points. Zearl Watson was high man in the conference with 4,508 points.
