Dr. Carr finishes development of Nursing Program JAMES F. CARR, JR. , EdD, as Ass istant to the President , served on many committees and had major responsibility for finding ways to improve communications throughout the College. Development of the Nursing Program was a major project that he completed in 1974-75, obtaining a grant of $124,000 from the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare to assist in the implementation of this program. Apart from his administrative duties Carr served on the Governor's Com· mission on Employment of the Handicapped , the Health Council of the White River Planning and Development District, and the Board of the Sunshine School. 1.
