3 5 High jumping duo guide tracksters through slow year Sophomore Steve Celsor and freshman Butch Gardner jumped their way to high standings in the Ale. Although Harding came in seventh place, the team showed exceptional talent in many areas. Dave Bell broke his own record in pole vaulting while Steve Celsor broke his old AIC record in high jumping, which was at 6-8 112. Among the more talented tracksters were 880-yard specialist Matt Comotto and miler Tony Woodruff. The Bison Track Team pulled in 17 points at the AIC track meet, 13 ahead of eighth place Hendrix and 16 ahead of the Ozarks.
