Strong friendships rise from pledge week associations Clogs, roaches and gophers came alive the seventh week of school as a traditional ritual. Harding's pledge week brought new club members to a higher definition of friendship. People who were strangers became life long friends in the course of a single week. As the school year progressed stronger friendships developed through club devotionals, outings and sports activities. Many clubs enjoyed the sharing of activities with their brother or sister club.
