Graduate program adds Bible courses for public schools NYAL D. ROYSE, EdD, Director of Graduate Studies, supervised the addition of Special Education to the graduate curriculum. Courses in teaching Bible in the public schools were also implemented into the program. A seminar relating Bible to the public schools and junior colleges was held at Harding during the summer. Additional seminars in elementary school math, reading, and science were also conducted. Dr. Royse pursued the hobbies of baking wedding cakes, constructing ties , and collecting walking canes. 1. RESEARCH assistant Billy Ray Dean participates in NASA experiments under the close supervision of Harry Olree. Olree researches weightlessness for Skylab program HARRY D. OLREE, EdD, Director of Research , completed his seventh year in research for NASA. Utilizing a $50,000 allottment of funds , Dr. Olree studied the effects of weightlessness on cardiac output for the Skylab program. Research was also conducted during 1973·74 on "The Effects of Bed Rest, Sleep Deprivation, and Discontinuance of Training on the Physical Fitness of Highly Trained Young Men."
