Frosh highjumper breaks Ale record; Bisons look ahead A record-breaking perfonnance by freshman Steve Celsor highlighted the Harding track season. In the Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference track and field championships, Celsor highjumped 6-8 112 to smash the existing record of 6-8 1/ 4 and post his personal career best. Celsor's new standard notched up the fifth Harding entry in the AIC's 20 all-time track records. Lack of experienced personnel on the Bison thinclad roster, evidenced by the listing of only one senior letterman, hampered Harding's efforts in the league's title meet. Tracksters who made strong showings in the finals include pole vaulter Dave Bell , weight specialist David Lasley, 8BO-yard runner Matt Comotto and miler Tony Woodruff. Although their eighth-place conference finish was no high, Coach Ted Lloyd and his team appear to have invested in a bright future. 274/ TRACK
