Tough competition puts Bison golfers in seventh place The 1973 season saw the Harding golf team slip into seventh place in the AIC tournament. The Bison golfers , with a score of 685, finished far behind sixth place Henderson. Though the golfers anticipated a better season , there were some fine individ ual performances from seniors Richard Fowler and Phil Romine. Fine performances were also turned by sophomore Bill Fowler and Nick Stevens. Rounding out the '73 golf team were seniors Greg Pauley and Robert Pankey and sophomore Mark Muncy. Coach Merritt is looking toward a brighter '74 season with the addition of new freshmen talent. 270/ GOLF
