Pace-setting duo breaks into charts with 1,000 points With five impressive starters and good bench depth, two Bison cagers crossed the 1,000 career point plateau in '74. The duo of Freddie Dixon, third on Harding's all time scoring list with 1,331 points, and Tim Vick, fifth with 1,159, were the heart of the Harding offense. Junior Tim Vick, with 148 assists, set a new season record, breaking Ned Boaz's record, dating back to the '64-65 season. Senior Freddie Dixon holds the school record , established in his sophomore year, for field goal percentages with .607. He also established a career record for field goal percentages this year with .583. The Bison Cagers, defIDitely not a two-man team, were rounded out by the steady performance of Lester Davidson, who shot at a .S03 pace averaging 8.1 points a game.
