Semanek Blanchard Springs site for stag outing One of the original clubs on campus, Koinonia was started at Harding in 1936. One of the founding members , Leslie Burke, is now the club sponsor. The club name comes from the Greek word for fellowship , and their sign is a symbol of brotherhood and sharing. Club spirit was bolstered by devotionals with their sister club , WHC. These two groups got together at Christmas and went caroling at a local convalescent home. The club banquet was held at Lindsey's Steak House in Little Rock in April, and later that month the men camped out at Blanchard Springs for a stag outing.
