Club raises funds for St. Jude's Hospital For the past eighteen years Beta Phi's have attempted to provide a close Christian fellowship for male students as have other male social clubs. Their spirit of friendship spills over into the relationship between members and Beta Tau , their sister club. In sports, athletes took second place in softball and volleyball. Not only capable in sports, the club was also awarded second place in academic standings. The com· munity project for the year raised funds for St. lude's Hospital of Memphis. Beta Phi 's were involved in the all-school Spring Sing, carrying out a humorous circus skit.
