Chorale performs in Choral Festival, tours nearby states The Chorale, open to all students who enjoy singing and wish to extend their musical skills, presented school. community. and tour performances throughout the year. The highlight of the group's performances came with the participation in a Christmas Choral Festival in California. The singers also toured the states of Arkansas. Missouri. and Tennessee in the fall and sang their way into the hearts of young and old alike. Interest of prospective students was aroused by the elegant singing of the Chamber Singers at Civic Clubs and banquets around the Searcy area. Prominent in the scores were sixteenth century Italian and English chamber vocal polyphonic music. In addition to promoting good will toward Harding, the members developed lasting relationships among themselves and the newly-made friends. 1. CHORALE. FRONT ROW: Watts, Green, Cooper McHaney.
