Campaigners aid 2 NE church groups, evangelize Europe Sincere desire to share God 's word prompted faculty and students to involve themselves in European and North east Campaigns. During these campaigns, students spread the gospel in New Jersey, In· diana , Canada, and West Virginia; and in Rome, Cologne, Augsburg, Zurich , Nurnberg, Holland, and England. Long hours of work, study, and prayer demonstrated the campaigners' zeal in preparing for their summer job of sharing the Bible. In addition to mental preparation, the members raised enough funds to pay campaign expenses and to help themselves return to school the next fall. A goal of $45,000 was set for Campaigns Northeast. During the summer of campaigning, workers knocked on doors , gave out thousands of religious tracts, conducted Bible studies, and held gospel meetings. After the close of the campaigns, native follow-up groups continued to strengthen the newly converted Christians. 170 / RELIGIOUS GROUPS
