Petit Jean accepts 14th consecutive All-American rating Harding College's annual, the Petit Jeall, received its 14th consecutive AIIAmerican award at the fall convention of the Arkansas College Publication Association held on our campus as part of the fiftieth anniversary celebrations. The book was rated outstanding in copy, display, concept and coverage. "Growing with Harding" was the major theme of the 1974 yearbook. Each section tried to reflect on the past as well as portray the current year's events. Since Harding started its anniversary activities in 1974, Edit"r Ken Kendall-Ball utilized special sections of the annual to depict the past SO years, and also to feature some of the spring events. Being aware of the many moods and activities on campus, the staff spent long hours collecting facts, writing informative copy and choosing vivid pictures to produce the 1974 Petit Jean. 166 / STUDENT PUBLICATIONS
