BOARD OF TRUSTEES Board increases its awareness of on-campus affairs Implementing a plan to get Board members better acquainted with oncampus affairs , committees of the Board met with various administrative officers to discuss relevant educational and operational issues. The Board approved a non-degree program for the continuing education of preachers, considered a proposed baccalaureatedegree program in nursing but deferred action pending further study, made three new vice-presidential appointments, and approved plans for an $8 million campaign to provide additional building and facilities and to increase the endowment. 1.
