JUNIOR BASKETBALL Jr. Cats combine hustle and ability to overcome foes Playing with a height disadvantage all year, the Junior Basketball Team placed second in the County Tourna· ment. The Cats began the finals with a near perfect game against a strong Bradford team, winning by a score of 24·23. The Juniors were defeated in the finals by Kensett. By using their outside shooting ability to a strong advantage, the Juniors were able to offset their height disadvantage most of the year. Two freshmen were named to the AIl·County team. They were guard John Daniel and forward Cam Prock. Four other freshmen played their last JlInior High game for Head Coach Wilt Martin. They were Gary Garner, Bryan WiUiams, Charles Posey, and David Wallace.
