MUSIC GROUPS Morning rehearsals prepare ACappella for performances The Academy A Cappella Chorus, under the direction of Ray A. Wright, worked diligently throughout the year at the 7: 30 a.m. rehearsals. The morning sessions began with a series of exercises designed to develop tone quality. During the year, the chorus took two out-of-state trips, and a group selected from the chorus represented the Academy at the state and regional choral festivals . The chorus also performed for various church functions, including the Thanksgiving Lectureships and a youth rally in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
