PITTING a new jumper they made for Wendy, one member of their club's "adopted" famIly, Kappa Delta members Deb and Cindy Cates demonstrate their concern for the needy. KAPPA DELTA KD's ~adopf local family as service project for year Inspired to offer needed assistance, Kappa Delta decided to "adopt" a needy family in Searcy. Helping a mother and three children, members surprised them at Christmas time with caroling and gifts, and visited them throughout the year. After winning both the spasketball and basketball championships for small club sports the previous year, Kappa Delta moved to large club status. Besides hosting an alumni breakfast at Homecoming, members placed a display in a downtown store about the game. Functions including an outing and a banquet fulfilled plans for the spring semester.
