INTRAMURALS Intramural program gains wide response with varied events The intramural program at Harding offered 35 events in categories of individua l. team, club, and class competition for entry by students. The winning students or teams in each event were awarded trophies, and participants in team contests selected an all-star team. An award for the outstanding intramural ath lete was presented in the spring. Steve Fox received the 1971 award. With approximately 80 per cent of the student body involved in some type of intramural act ivity, Harding's system ranked as one of the most effic;ent and organized programs in the nation.
