WOMEN 'S SPORTS Extramural teams undergo first year in coed rivalry Directed by Mrs. Barbara Barnes, the women's extramural program at Harding underwent an experimental season as the coeds part icipated in volleyball, basketba ll, and tennis for the first time. This sports system, in connection with the Arkansas Women's Extramural Association, was added to Harding's program to ai d physica l education majors and minors in gaining va luable playing and coaching knowledge for use in teaching careers. Optimist ica lly hoping for a better established and more organized system in the future, Mrs . Barnes was aided by Mrs. Kathryn Campbell and Phil Watkins in the coaching chores.
