With James Henderson who captured the team's medalist honors for the third straight year, and returning lettermen Roger Elliot, Richard Fowler, and Larry Frank, joined by freshman Jim Byrd, the golfers anticipated a higher fin ish than the seventh place they captured in the AlC meet. In District 17 play, the team finished in the number eight position. Norman Merritt, coach for the third year, directed other team members John McGuire, Greg Pauley, Jerry Rubio, Randy Li llard, and Charles Dye.
