TENNIS Netters undergo polishing of skills in rebuilding year Lacking experience and depth, the 1971 season was looked upon as a rebui lding year for the Harding netmen, as only one letterman returned from the 1970 squad. Wilh Coach Bob Knight stressing fundamentals and a positive menta l attitude. the Bison netters were much improved as the season neared its end. Peaking for the ATC tournament, the Bison pulled off a surprising third place finish behind Arkansas AM&N and Hendrix. Junior Ron Parker and senior co-captains Bo Brockman and Mike Sadler led the team's play. Freshman Rick Adkins received the Outstanding Tournament Award for his sparkling performance.
