CHEERLEADERS Cheerleaders and Bisonettes direct new school spiri t Spirited pep rallies led by energetic and loyal Bison cheerleaders around the lily pool on the front lawn, and strong st udent support aided the Harding teams for an enthusiastic season. Practicing long and hard, the girls backed the team with encouraging cheers and zany skits. Returning were seniors Kathy Nelson, Laura Shuffett, and captain Martina Peacock. New to the spi rit-building squad were Tresia Burri s, Suzie Howel1, Carol Bucy, and Sara Lee. The Bisonettes aided the teams also as they encouraged students to attend the pep rallies and yelled the Bison on to victories. Nancy Martin and Denise Tippins captained the Bison-backers.
