SPECIAL INTERESTS Entrances to caves gated by Spelunkers to avert vandalism In an effort to save caves from the harm caused by vandals, the Spelunkers accepted the cha llenge of gating the mouths of many of the caves they used to seal them off from harm. This process gave the members opportunity to use the caving skills they had learned. A Thanksgiving excursion took the club to Fitton Cave in Harrison, Arkansas where they explored over thirteen miles of passageways. The Harding Business Women met each month, strengthening office relations and hearing guest speakers such as Miss Irene Johnson, whom they helped as she worked in Germany, and Dr. James Carr. They also continued work on a handbook to promote better service in the offi ces of the school. The Bison Boosters produced favors to be given to members of the Bison teams at pep rallies, their posters always added to game spiri~ and they sponsored several fund-raising projects to support the cheerleaders.
