SPEECH GROUPS Better equipment improves sound of KHeA radio KHCA placed new equipment into operation early this year including a new transmission system, thus allow~ ing students to receive the campus station more clearly. The staff also expanded its broadcasting hours longer into the afternoon. In their broadcasting, much emphasis was given to public affairs, featuring faculty and guest interviews and an open line to the audience to ca ll in and ask questions. A new program of local ta lcnt introduced such diversions as ITIlIsic31groups, Reader's Theater, Sports Open Line. and cultural events. Special news broadcasts featured the activities on other campuses, giving special emp~lasis to the Christian college scene.
