STUDENT GOVERNMENT New SA projects ~make it happen' on Harding campus Inspiration and theme for this year's Student Associatioll took form in the words "Let's make it happen." Representatives met with Governor Dale Bumpers and other Arkansas colleges to learn details concerning "Fast to Save the People." This program was organized to raise relief funds for the refugees of Pakistan. Plans for a new student center called for participation of the officers in a challenge to form their own Phone-a-thon to aid in the fund drive. The SA's brain-child, Campus Congress, helped in the presentations such as coffee houses, Hilarity, and Friendly Week. Doubled funds gave the SA an opportunity to provide better lyceums that interested many more people. The SA Conference, held in Lubbock, Texas, followed the theme "Changing Times; Crises or Triumph for the Christian College."
